monday motivation

IMG_0554after spending a long day in chinandega (a hot, noisy nicaraguan city) – and returning home to the sound of the sea, i am reminded how blessed i am.

take a few moments in what’s left of your day to sit still and be silent. listen. shift your awareness to your breath and breathe deeply. as your breath begins to slow down, observe the subtle pauses in between each inhale and each exhale.

smile, for you always have the ability to slow down and return to a place of stillness – even amidst the chaos.
